The Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast hosts the Australian Ladies Masters golf tournament every February.

The event has been going for two decades and is a sanctioned event of the Ladies European Tour, the LET, and the Australian Ladies Professional Golf, the ALPG. The Australian Ladies Masters is a four day event.

Some of the past winners of the Australian Ladies Masters at Royal Pines include Jane Crafter, Laura Davies, Annika Sorenstam, Gail Graham, Karrie Webb, Amy Yang, Lisa Hall and Katherine Hull. The tournament prize money is around $500,000. The field consists of 144 golfers.

The Australian Ladies Masters is broadcast on Australian television and into many other countries. Those wanting to follow the scores can access the live information on the internet. The Australian Open and the New Zealand Open are usually played close to the date of the Australian Ladies Masters which allows the top female players to compete in all three tournaments.

Golfers can play the same course that is used in the Australian Ladies Masters, and there are also putting greens to practice on, a driving range and golf carts to hire. Golfers can also sign up for lessons to improve their golf games.

The Royal Pines Resort is easy to get to with major highways, the Gold Coast airport and the rail line from Brisbane located in the vicinity. A shuttle bus takes people from the Royal Pines Resort to some of the attractions on the Gold Coast.

As well as the golfing facilities, the Royal Pines Resort has tennis courts, a gym, a spa and many other services. For those who want variety in their food the Royal Pines Resort has a large number of restaurants and other venues. Those looking for seafood, Italian food or Japanese food will not be disappointed.
